Elk Chute Lodge Duck and Goose Season Policies
Check in: 3:00 p.m. - If your rooms are ready, you are welcome to check in early. You can send us a text 30 minutes before your arrival to see if they are ready. The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to be able to check-in the lodge. You may be asked to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in that matches the name on the reservation as well as the credit card used to pay for the guest room.
Check out: 9:00 a.m. - All personal items MUST be removed from your bedroom and bathroom by 9:00 a.m. on your last day. This will allow our housekeepers time to get everything cleaned and ready for the next guests. You are welcome to leave your personal items outside your room or at the front of the lodge to pick up later in the day. This will allow you time to hunt as long as you would like to. If you would prefer to leave your personal items in your room and bathroom in order to shower and change after your hunt, you are welcome to do that. We just ask that you please reserve an extra night.
Deposit: A credit card is required at the time of booking and you must pay a deposit of at least 50% of the booking amount to guarantee the room. The remainder of the balance will be due 30 days before check in.
Additional Guest Fee: Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. There will be a $35.00 extra guest fee per night for each guest over 2. Maximum of 3 adults per room.
Cancellations: Refunds will be given ONLY if cancellation is made prior to final payment (30 days before check in date) minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded unless the room/rooms are rebooked to another guest for the entire length of the original reservation minus a $25 processing fee. If a guide service listed on our website cancels a hunt due to WEATHER CONDITIONS, every effort will be made to reschedule or roll your room/rooms over to the next season.
Early Departure: Once checked-in, early departures are charged for the entire length of the original reservation. No refunds will be given for early departures.
Estimated Taxes & Fees: Guest room rates are subject to prevailing taxes and fees, currently 9.225% per room per night. These taxes and fees are subject to change without notice.
Pets: Ten dog kennels will be provided on a first come first serve basis. These kennels are in a secure, indoor heated facility. No dogs (pets) are allowed inside lodge premises. A cleaning fee of $100 per day of your reservation, will be charged to your credit card on file should you allow pets inside lodge premises.
No Smoking Policy: Elk Chute Lodge is a 100% non-smoking property. A $200 cleaning fee will be billed to your account should smoking occur anywhere inside the lodge premises. Ash containers are provided on our outside porches for your convenience.
Lost & Found: Elk Chute Lodge is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. However, we will make every effort to locate and return these items.
Injuries: Elk Chute Lodge and its entities shall not be held liable for injuries acquired on the premises.
Quiet Hours: In consideration of ALL guests, quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. No loud, unruly behavior after 10:00 p.m. Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the lodge, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the lodge by other guests, the lodge reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest/guests. The guest/guests may be asked to leave without refund and law enforcement may be called.
Damages: Guests shall be liable for any damage, except normal wear and tear to lodge asset. The credit card on file will be billed for any damages at replacement cost. Guests shall keep the lodge room in a good condition and maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
COVID-19 PLEASE NOTE, we ask guests to remain home if symptoms occur including fever, chills, shortness of breath and muscle or body aches within 14 days of your reservation OR if you are currently awaiting COVID-19 test results.
